District Sports 2017

On Thursday 13th July, children from Key Stage Two took part in the District Sports event at Hedingham School. All of the children were brilliant and showed great determination, resilience and team work. After a day of close competition, we came a very credible 4th in the small schools category! Well done to all involved and to Mr Riccio for the fantastic coaching. Bring on next year!

Happy Retirement Mrs Foster!

We had a special assembly to say farewell to Mrs Foster, a long serving member of staff who means so much to us all. Muntjacs read her a beautiful poem, she was presented with handmade gifts in which the whole school had contributed to, along with flowers and balloons. Mrs Nichols read a thoughtful prayer to send Mrs Foster on her way with God’s love surrounding her every step.

The assembly finished with an emotional balloon release, watched by the whole school and followed by lots of hugs and cuddles.

Thank you Mrs Foster for all your support at St Giles and have a very long and happy retirement!

A Festive Finish To 2016!

We all had a great end to the year at St Giles. We really enjoyed sharing our words, prayers and pictures, whist building the stable scene during the crib service. Our Christmas discos gave us a festive feel as we danced beneath the ‘snow’ and our annual trip to the pantomime was fantastic. (Oh yes it was!!)

We are definitely ready for our Christmas holidays so Merry Christmas to one and all!

Advent Window Grand Reveal

We had a welcome Christmas cheer early yesterday evening with the grand revealing of our Advent window display. We waited with excitement as our creation was unveiled and then we all erupted into a big festive cheer! Puff pastry swirls, biscuits, mulled wine and juice completed our gathering. Thank you to everyone who came along.

KINGSWOOD UPDATE

It has been a really busy day doing a variety of activites including Quad Biking and Archery. They have had a selection of great meals to keep them going! They are now all at the disco!!
